In a new case, London Arbitration 16/21, the issue whether time and expense of cleaning of hull for prolonged stay is payable by charterers was decided. In this case, the subject vessel was chartered on an amended NYPE form for a time charter trip via the North China to Japan range to India with the duration of about 30 to 35 days.
