Situation Update – Ukraine<\/h4>\n

We have been advised by the Club\u2019s correspondent in Odessa that as of 5.9.14 all Ukrainian ports are working normally. There are presently no delays to cargo operations due to the political situation in the country.<\/p>\n

Transshipment of cargoes at the Kerch port anchorage.<\/p>\n

Correspondents also advise they have had many enquiries for clarification as to where the anchorage for ships loading in the area near the port of Kerch in Ukraine is located. The main concern being whether this anchorage is in or out of the 12 mile zone.<\/p>\n

Correspondents advise that vessels are presently serviced at the outer roads of the Kerch port within the water area limited by the following coordinates:<\/p>\n

1st point 44\u2070 52.3\u2019 N 036\u2070 33.5\u2019 E
2nd point 44\u2070 53.0\u2019 N 036\u2070 38.5\u2019E
3rd point 44\u2070 48.1\u2019 N 036\u2070 38.5\u2019E
4th point 44\u2070 49.1\u2019 N 036\u2070 34.0\u2019 E.<\/p>\n

We understand it is now confirmed that this is outside the 12 mile zone.<\/p>\n
