Reporting Deaths and Illness<\/h4>\n

From March 2014, Federal Regulations have changed and the process for reporting death and illness on board vessels destined to the US has changed.<\/p>\n

The paperwork which is required to be completed has changed, and is available from the CDC (Centre for Disease Control) website<\/p>\n

The full guidance for cargo ships on how to report onboard death or illness to the CDC can be found at the CDC website here<\/a><\/p>\n

Members are advised to ensure their vessels have the correct forms readily available in the unfortunate event of a death or illness.<\/p>\n
