An original copy of the P&amp;I entry certificate will be sufficient if this specifically states the three minimum risks coverage which is likely not to be the case. Accordingly a letter from the P&amp;I insurers in this connection would be required. Please find below a extract of the port authority notice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: -0.1pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u4ece2004\u5e743\u67081\u65e5\u8d77\uff0c\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u6e2f\u53e3\u5f53\u5c40\u8981\u6c42\u63d0\u4f9b\u6709\u6548\u7684\u8bc1\u636e\u8bc1\u660e\u53c2\u52a0\u4fdd\u8d54\u9669\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u8bc1\u660e\u8d77\u7801\u7684\u6cb9\u6c61\u9669\uff0c\u6e05\u9664\u6b8b\u9ab8\u548c\u78b0\u649e\u56fa\u4f53\u548c\u6f02\u6d6e\u7269\u4f53\u9669\u3002\u53ea\u8981\u534f\u4f1a\u7684\u6b63\u672c\u5165\u4f1a\u8bc1\u4e66\u8db3\u4ee5\u8bc1\u660e\u4e0a\u4e09\u79cd\u98ce\u9669\u5c31\u4e0d\u6210\u95ee\u9898\uff0c\u6216\u76f8\u5e94\u7684\u534f\u4f1a\u7684\u8bc1\u660e\u4e66\u3002\u4ee5\u4e0b\u662f\u6e2f\u53e3\u5f53\u5c40\u901a\u77e5\u7684\u6458\u8981\uff1a<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <strong><span style=\"color: #000066;\"> PROTECTION &amp; INDEMNITY COVER FOR VESSELS ENTERING SRI LANKAN PORTS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: -0.1pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u6295\u4fdd\u4fdd\u8d54\u9669\u7684\u8239\u8236\u8fdb\u5165\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u6e2f\u53e3\u987b\u77e5<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1.\u3000Vessels entering Sri Lankan Ports, should furnish as a minimum, the insurances set out by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, to cover the following, inter alia and should ensure all such insurances are placed with reputable insurers, acceptable to the Sri Lanka Ports Authority.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: -0.1pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">1.\u3000\u8239\u8236\u8fdb\u5165\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u6e2f\u5e94\u63d0\u4f9b\u6e2f\u53e3\u5f53\u5c40\u89c4\u5b9a\u7684\u4e0b\u5217\u6700\u4f4e\u4fdd\u8d54\u4fdd\u969c\uff0c\u5e76\u4fdd\u8bc1\u8fd9\u4e9b\u4fdd\u969c\u7531\u8457\u540d\u7684\u4fdd\u9669\u516c\u53f8\u627f\u4fdd\u5e76\u662f\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u6e2f\u53e3\u5f53\u5c40\u6240\u80fd\u63a5\u53d7\u7684\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2.\u3000Protection &amp; Indemnity cover for the vessels should include following but not limited to<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Oil Pollution<\/li>\n<li>Wreck removal<\/li>\n<li>Damage to port property<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">2.\u3000\u8239\u8236\u7684\u4fdd\u8d54\u9669\u5305\u62ec\u4ee5\u4e0b\u51e0\u79cd\u4f46\u4e0d\u4ec5\u9650\u4e8e\u4ee5\u4e0b\u51e0\u79cd<\/span>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u6cb9\u6c61<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u6e05\u9664\u6b8b\u9ab8<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u635f\u574f\u6e2f\u53e3\u8bbe\u65bd<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3.\u3000Vessels that are not entered in a P &amp; I Club within the International Group should ensure that the following minimum limits of insurances are available for any one accident \/ incident arising out of one occurrence as indicated in item &#8211; 3 above, unlimited in the aggregate and as may be required by statute:-<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: -0.1pt; font-family: SimSun; text-align: justify;\">3.\u3000\u8239\u8236\u6ca1\u6709\u5728\u56fd\u9645\u4fdd\u8d54\u96c6\u56e2\u4e2d\u7684\u4fdd\u8d54\u534f\u4f1a\u6295\u4fdd\u7684\uff0c\u5fc5\u987b\u4fdd\u8bc1\u53d1\u751f\u4e0a\u8ff0\u4e09\u79cd\u60c5\u51b5\u4e4b\u4e00\u7684\u6bcf\u6b21\u4e8b\u6545\/\u4e8b\u4ef6\u7684\u6700\u4f4e\u4fdd\u969c\uff0c\u7d2f\u8ba1\u4e8b\u6545\u65e0\u9650\u989d\u5e76\u6309\u6cd5\u5f8b\u89c4\u5b9a\uff1a<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"list-style: lower-alpha;\">Vessels which are not carrying petroleum cargoes &#8211; US $ 10 million<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style: lower-alpha;\">Vessels which carry petroleum cargoes\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style: upper-roman;\">Up to 3000 MT Dead Weight [DWT] &#8211; US $ 10 million<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style: upper-roman;\">3000 MT Dead Weight [DWT] and above &#8211; US $ 100 million or Oil pollution<br \/> US $ 10 million For Wreak removal or Damage to Port Propert<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"list-style: lower-alpha;\"><span class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u975e\u8fd0\u8f7d\u77f3\u6cb9\u4ea7\u54c1\u7684\u8239\u8236 &#8211; 1\u5343\u4e07\u7f8e\u5143<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style: lower-alpha;\"><span class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u8fd0\u8f93\u77f3\u6cb9\u7684\u8239\u8236:<\/span><\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style: upper-roman;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">3000\u8f7d\u91cd\u5428\u4ee5\u4e0b\u7684\u8239\u8236 &#8211; 1\u5343\u4e07\u7f8e\u5143<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style: upper-roman;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">3000\u8f7d\u91cd\u5428\u4ee5\u4e0a\u7684\u8239\u8236\u4ebf\u7f8e\u5143\u6216\u6309\u6cb9\u6c61\u9669\u9650\u989d<\/span><br \/> <span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u6e05\u9664\u6b8b\u9ab8\u6216\u635f\u574f\u6e2f\u53e3\u8bbe\u65bd\u4e3a1\u5343\u4e07<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"style1\">4.\u3000<\/span>If the above liability requirements are covered through a split entry i e Hull &amp; Machinery Policy etc\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6, vessel should provide evidence where these liabilities are included as split entry with vessels P&amp;I \/ Hull and Machinery cover.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">4.\u3000\u5982\u4ee5\u4e0a\u8d23\u4efb\u4fdd\u9669\u4ee5\u5206\u6563\u6295\u4fdd\u5f62\u5f0f\u5982\u8239\u58f3\u9669\u7b49\u6295\u4fdd\u7684\uff0c\u8239\u8236\u5c31\u8981\u8bc1\u660e\u54ea\u4e9b\u662f\u5c5e\u4e8e\u4fdd\u8d54\u9669\u627f\u4fdd\u8303\u56f4\u7684\uff0c\u54ea\u4e9b\u662f\u5c5e\u4e8e\u8239\u58f3\u9669\u627f\u4fdd\u8303\u56f4\u7684\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"style1\">5.\u3000<\/span>Sri Lanka Ports Authority may request the vessel agent \/ local representative of the P &amp; I Club to furnish security ratings of the insurance companies with whom vessels insure their risk in order to determine the financial security.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">5.\u3000\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u6e2f\u53e3\u5f53\u5c40\u4f1a\u8981\u6c42\u8239\u8236\u4ee3\u7406\u4fdd\u8d54\u534f\u4f1a\u7684\u5f53\u5730\u4ee3\u8868\u63d0\u4f9b\u8239\u8236\u6240\u6295\u4fdd\u7684\u4fdd\u9669\u516c\u53f8\u7684\u7b49\u7ea7\u6765\u786e\u5b9a\u5176\u8d22\u52a1\u4fdd\u8bc1\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The vessel&#8217;s local agent is required to furnish a copy of the entry certificate or the cover note duly endorsed by the local representative of the P &amp; I Club for it&#8217;s authenticity to the safety section of the Harbour Masters division prior to the vessel&#8217;s arrival in Colombo, thus avoiding any delay in berthing<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: -0.1pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u5728\u8239\u8236\u62b5\u8fbe\u79d1\u4f26\u5761\u4e4b\u524d\uff0c\u8239\u8236\u5f53\u5730\u4ee3\u7406\u8981\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e00\u4efd\u8239\u8236\u5165\u4f1a\u8bc1\u4e66\u526f\u672c\u6216\u7531\u4fdd\u8d54\u534f\u4f1a\u7684\u5f53\u5730\u4ee3\u8868\u7b7e\u7f72\u7684\u4fdd\u9669\u8bc1\u660e\u7ed9\u6e2f\u957f\u5b89\u5168\u5ba4\uff0c\u6765\u8bc1\u660e\u4fdd\u9669\u7684\u771f\u5b9e\u6027\uff0c\u4ee5\u514d\u5ef6\u8bef\u9760\u6cca\u3002<\/span> <\/p>\n<p> Above requirement will be in force from 1st of March, 2004.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: SimSun;\" lang=\"ZH-CN\">\u4ee5\u4e0a\u89c4\u5b9a\u5c06\u57282004\u5e743\u67081\u65e5\u8d77\u65bd\u884c\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: right;\">25 Mar 2004<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: right;\"><a href=\"javascript:history.go(-1)\">back<\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sri Lanka &#8211;
