{"id":8670,"date":"2004-12-01T09:56:45","date_gmt":"2004-12-01T09:56:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.1.14\/index.php\/2004\/12\/01\/turkey-3\/"},"modified":"2025-09-01T01:22:04","modified_gmt":"2025-08-31T17:22:04","slug":"turkey-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/andrewliu.com.hk\/zh\/turkey-3\/","title":{"rendered":"\u571f\u8033\u5176"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8137\" src=\"https:\/\/andrewliu.com.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2003\/01\/turkey_b.jpg\" alt=\"Turkey_b\" width=\"100\" height=\"66\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wood Packaging\/Timber Import Restrictions &#8211; Turkey<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Turkish Government has announced the following measures in order to comply with the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM), from January 1st 2005:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All wood packaging materials entering Turkey must be:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Stripped of bark;<\/li>\n<li>Heat-treated or fumigated with methyl bromide; and<\/li>\n<li>Marked in accordance with ISPM 15 standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the wooden materials do not comply with these requirements then the cargo will be destroyed, fumigated, heat-treated, or returned to the origin port of loading.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ISPM 15 Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade are recommendations to achieve international harmonisation of phytosanitary measures and covers both packaging\/securing materials and dunnage. This standard describes phytosanitary measures to reduce the risk of introduction and\/or spread of quarantine pests associated with wood packaging materials made of coniferous and non-coniferous raw wood in use in international trade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UK P&amp;I Club recommends that owners ask for declarations from shippers\/agents at the time of booking as confirmation that all and any wood packaging being utilised conforms to the ISPM standard.
