Japan ratifies Limitation of Liability 1996 Protocol<\/h4>\n

With effect from 1st August 2006, the Limitation of Liability 1996 Protocol will take effect in Japan.<\/p>\n

In view of the P&I compulsory insurance requirement in Japan, owners will need to ensure the limits of liability under the P&I insurances are sufficient.<\/p>\n
