2016年1月16日,成为《联合全面行动计划》的执行日。这是具有历史意义的一天，国际原子能机构核验伊朗已履行该计划中关键性核相关承诺，美国国务卿确认国际原子能机构的证实结果。
鉴于伊朗满足其核承诺已得到证实，根据《联合全面行动计划》的约定，美国从2016年1月16日开始解除对伊朗核相关制裁。

“Implementation Day” – Nuclear-related sanctions on Iran being lifted from January 16, 2016
On July 14, 2015, the P5+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States), the European Union, and Iran reached a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to ensure that Iran’s nuclear program will be exclusively peaceful.
January 16, 2016, marks Implementation Day of the JCPOA. On this historic day, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has verified that Iran has implemented its key nuclear-related measures described in the JCPOA, and the Secretary State has confirmed the IAEA’s verification.
As a result of Iran verifiably meeting its nuclear commitments, the United States will lift nuclear-related sanctions on Iran from January 16, 2016, as described in the JCPOA.
