Following the coup in Myanmar on 1 February 2021, protests and strikes have been taking place throughout the country.
Ports remain open and operational, though members should note that there are reports of vessels trading to Myanmar experiencing delays due to apparent problems with customs clearances and restricted cargo movement. There are further reports that the protests and strikes have resulted in terminals being understaffed. Banks and government offices have also been closed.

缅甸2月1日发生军事政变后，全国各地都在发生抗议和罢工活动。
会员应注意，尽管各港口仍然正常开放运营，但有报告称由于海关清关及货物运转的限制，贸易至缅甸的船舶会遭遇延误。有进一步的报告称，抗议和罢工活动已经导致码头人手不足。银行和政府官邸也已关闭。
