Pre‑loading Inspection Requirements for Nickel Ore and Iron Ore
Recently, the Panamanian‑flag bulk carrier Ocean Winner capsized and sank in the Bay of Bengal due to liquefaction of loaded iron ore concentrate, leaving 22 crew members missing. This accident once again highlights the significance of pre‑loading inspection for Group A cargoes.
