Stowaway regulations

In South Africa, the local Immigration Authority is seeking to fine ships reported to have stowaways on board at around USD 300 per head even if the presence of the stowaways has been reported. Ships which do not report the stowaways on board will be subjected to fines of up to USD 1,200 per stowaway.
