CATU Containers Banned - Libya

Following a decree of the General People's Committee dated 27 August 2003 all CATU/owned or related containers have been forbidden from entering any Libyan ports since 15 September 2003.
Non-compliance has resulted in the relevant containers being returned to origin or transit port on board the same vessel causing heavy consequential losses to all parties concerned.
