Loading in River Panana / River Plate area

To reduce the risk of grounding and causing damage to the channel, the Argentinean Coast Guard recommends that vessels using the main waterways from Santa Fe to the ocean must have drafts below 34 feet. High tidal levels have enabled some vessels with drafts exceeding 34 feet to use the River Parana safely but as tidal levels varies, this should not be taken into account when calculating the vessel's draft.
