On 22 April 2016, The Strike Club, together with ALCO, held seminar at SHANGHAI INTERCONTINENTAL PUDONG.

Mr. Nick Sansom, Business Development Director, and Mr. Dennis Linardatos, claims director gave exciting and wonderful speeches at the seminar.

Mr. Rui Hao and Ms. Cynthia Zhou from the club management company Charles Taylor’s Shanghai office attended the seminar. Operation manager Ms. Betty Cheung, and FDD manager Capt. Vivek Jain of ALCO attended the seminar.

The club experts and ALCO guests exchanged views on both underwriting and claims issues in depth during the seminar.

Attendants expressed appreciation and gratitude to club professors for their great speeches which giving them a whole picture and new conception of the strike cover, and hoped that they will have opportunities to cooperation in the future. The seminar promote to building mutual trust between both two sides based on face-to-face communication and on site interaction.

The club appreciated ALCO’s support in organizing the seminar, and expressed that they would continue to seek further cooperation with us to benefit ALCO client the most. As a marine insurance broker, we will continuously make efforts to place ourselves in the position of the client, so that whole team proactively thinks and cares for the client.

Today’s pirates use state-of-the-art weapons instead of cutlasses and canons. They comb coastal waters in high-speed boats and operate on the high seas from motherships.
