Reporting requirements from July 1, 2003 for vessels approaching the Panama Canal. These vessels are now required to advise the Panama Canal Authority of their arrival not less than 96 hours in advance of arrival and provide details in relation to their type, tonnage, nature of cargo on board and details of flag state registry.
