2015年10月15日，波罗的海国际航运公会(BIMCO)，船舶经纪人与代理人协会(ASBA)和新加坡海事基金会(SMF)联合发布《纽约土产交易所期租合同》(NYPE 2015)。新修订版集合了很多BIMCO标准条款或以BIMCO条款为基础的条款，致力于使船东和租家之间的利益较之前版本更加平衡。新合同亦考虑了1993版合同出台后法律和商业上的变化。租船人互保协会最近发出了一则通函，讨论新合同具体变化之处，以及新合同到底对船东或租家哪方比较有利。
协会通函讨论了新合同的一些主要特点，都非常重要，我们在此列举其中两点以供参考。

NYPE 2015 – Charterers’ interests
On 15 October 2015, the “NYPE 2015” time charterparty form was issued jointly by BIMCO, the Association of Ship Brokers and Agents (ASBA) and the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF). The new form, which incorporates many BIMCO standard clauses or clauses that are based on them, attempted to create a more balance agreement between Owners and Charterers than in previous versions of the charter. The new form also takes into account a number of legal and commercial changes that have taken place since NYPE 1993 was produced. The Charterers’ P&I Club have recently issued a circular discussing the new NYPE 2015 form, attempting to advise whether the new form is more of Owners’ or Charterers’ favour in general.
The Club’s circular discusses some key features of the new form, all are equally important. We are going to highlight two examples here for your reference.
