employment due to charterers&#8217; failure to pay hire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">In general, if a vessel has still cargo on board at the time the charterparty was terminated and incur time and expense to discharge the cargo, the owner would be able to claim for remuneration (time loss to the vessel) and expenses from the charterers if the owners were acting as an agent of necessity or as a bailee in taking care of the cargo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">It is important to note that if the agent of necessity was caused as a result of the owner&#8217;s own decision or in exercise of their right to terminate the charterparty, the owners would not be entitled to remuneration (time loss to the vessel) and only for the costs of bunkers consumed and costs of cargo discharge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">As a general principle of English law, in the absence of an agency of necessity a party on whom a benefit has been conferred is not obliged to pay for that benefit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">\u4e00\u822c\u800c\u8a00\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u79df\u7ea6\u7ec8\u6b62\u65f6\u8239\u4e0a\u4ecd\u88c5\u6709\u8d27\u7269\uff0c\u8239\u4e1c\u4f5c\u4e3a\u5fc5\u8981\u7684\u4ee3\u7406\u4eba\u6216\u4f5c\u4e3a\u53d7\u6258\u4eba\u7167\u6599\u8d27\u7269\uff0c\u4ece\u800c\u4ea7\u751f\u5378\u8d27\u65f6\u95f4\u548c\u8d39\u7528\u65f6\uff0c\u8239\u4e1c\u6709\u6743\u5411\u79df\u5bb6\u7d22\u507f\uff08\u8239\u8236\u65f6\u95f4\u635f\u5931\uff09\u548c\u8d39\u7528\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;
