Due to recent enquiries about some owners wishing to trade their ships to Iran, we would make the following additional practical comments:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

  1. Owners must carry out their own due diligence in checking whether the shipment and voyage is lawful.<\/li>\n
  2. The P&I Clubs would only give to their members a guidance as to the applicable US and EU laws and would not undertake the obligation of this search to confirm whether the shipment is lawful.<\/li>\n
  3. Some P&I Clubs recommend an expert surveyor is appointed for certain project cargoes to determine whether the cargo intended for Iran could possibly be used in connection with one of the unlawful activities such as nuclear technology and refining and production of oil and gas.<\/li>\n
  4. In view of the US laws can be uncertain and complicated, a US law firm is recommended to assist with the checks and searches.<\/li>\n
  5. Information on how to carry out the check and search can be obtained from the US Government website\uff1a<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    4. \u9274\u4e8e\u7f8e\u56fd\u6cd5\u5f8b\u7684\u4e0d\u786e\u5b9a\u6027\u548c\u590d\u6742\u6027\uff0c\u5efa\u8bae\u5ba2\u6237\u8054\u7cfb\u7f8e\u56fd\u5f8b\u5e08\u4e8b\u52a1\u6240\uff0c\u4ee5\u5e2e\u52a9\u68c0\u67e5\u548c\u8c03\u67e5\u3002<\/li>\n
    5. \u5ba2\u6237\u53ef\u4ee5\u5728\u7f8e\u56fd\u653f\u5e9c\u7f51\u7ad9\u4e0a\u83b7\u5f97\u5982\u4f55\u8fdb\u884c\u68c0\u67e5\u548c\u8c03\u67e5\u7684\u4fe1\u606f\uff1a<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
