The U.S. Coast Guard does impose conditions of entry on vessels calling on the United States after port calls in Iran (or other ports that it has determined do not maintain effective maritime security\/anti-terrorism measures). The conditions apply to any vessel that has visited a port on the Coast Guard’s list under Section B, within the past five (5) port calls. The most recent Port Security Advisory Notice from the Coast Guard was issued on May 27, 2011 and is attached hereto for your reference. The Coast Guard has identified steps required of the vessel while calling in Iran and then once it arrives in the United States. Upon arrival in the United States, the Coast Guard will board the vessel to ensure compliance with the required security measures. Very often, if the vessel is unable to demonstrate that it has effectively completed the steps noted in C1 \u2013 C5 of the PSA, then the Coast Guard may delay and\/or deny entry into the United States. Even if permitted to enter, the Coast Guard will require armed guards to be stationed on the vessel in accordance with the authority granted by the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002. We note that the requirement of armed guards may be waived by the Coast Guard if the vessel can demonstrate that steps C1 \u2013 C4 were fully complied with.<\/p>\n

Therefore there is no direct issue although the US authorities will monitor the vessel carefully which could cause delay.<\/p>\n


<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u79d1\u6469\u7f57\uff08Union of the Comoros\uff09\u3001\u79d1\u7279\u8fea\u74e6\uff08Republic of Cote d’Ivoire\uff09\u6210\u4e3a\u6700\u65b0\u52a0\u5165\u8fd9\u4e00\u540d\u5355\u7684\u4e24\u4e2a\u56fd\u5bb6\u3002\u4ee5\u4e0bC\u548cD\u5217\u660e\u7684\u8981\u6c42\u5c06\u9002\u7528\u4e8e\u4e0a\u4e94\u4e2a\u6302\u9760\u6e2f\u4e2d\u6709\u5c5e\u4e8e\u8fd9\u4e24\u4e2a\u56fd\u5bb6\u7684\uff0c\u5e76\u4e14\u57282011\u5e746\u670810\u65e5\u4e4b\u540e\u5230\u8fbe\u7f8e\u56fd\u6e2f\u53e3\u7684\u8239\u8236\u3002<\/p>\n

\u8239\u8236\u7684\u4e0a\u4e94\u4e2a\u6302\u9760\u6e2f\u4e2d\u5982\u6709\u5c5e\u4e8eB\u90e8\u5206\u5217\u660e\u7684\u56fd\u5bb6\u7684\u6e2f\u53e3\uff0c\u4e14\u8be5\u8239\u5728A\u90e8\u5206\u5217\u660e\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\u4e4b\u540e\u5230\u8fbe\u7f8e\u56fd\uff0c\u90a3\u4e48\u8be5\u8239\u5fc5\u987b\u91c7\u53d6\u4ee5\u4e0b1-5\u9879\u63aa\u65bd\uff0c\u624d\u88ab\u5141\u8bb8\u8fdb\u5165\u7f8e\u56fd\u6e2f\u53e3\u3002<\/p>\n
