Such doors are fitted in watertight bulkheads of ships like cruise vessels, ro-ro passenger vessels, ferries, large supply ships, special purpose ships, etc., and are electrically or hydraulically operated. On the lowermost decks doors are often hydraulically operated, closing with a force of two tons. People have been killed or severely maimed by such doors. There is often an element of fault by the affected person in such accidents, as the strict procedure for passing through these doors may not have been followed. Other issues which may affect their operation are lack of proper maintenance, the crew has not been properly trained nor received specific instructions on how to operate the doors, and SOLAS regulations and guidance are not followed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose of this circular is to stress the importance of the correct operation of watertight doors in order to maintain the vessel&#8217;s survivability during emergencies involving water ingress, but also to foster awareness of the risk to crew passing through these doors during their everyday operation of the vessel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">See attached file: 07-12 Dangers of power-operated watertight doors.pdf<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #022469;\"><strong>\u52a8\u529b\u64cd\u7eb5\u5f0f\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u7684\u5371\u9669<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u8fd1\u5e74\u6765\uff0cGard\u89c1\u8bc1\u4e86\u6570\u8d77\u56e0\u8239\u4e0a\u52a8\u529b\u64cd\u7eb5\u5f0f\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u5f15\u53d1\u7684\u4e8b\u6545\u3002\u52a8\u529b\u64cd\u7eb5\u5f0f\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u5b89\u88c5\u4e8e\u5404\u7c7b\u8239\u8236\uff08\u5982\u90ae\u8f6e\u3001\u6eda\u88c5\u5ba2\u8f6e\u3001\u6e21\u8f6e\u3001\u5927\u578b\u4f9b\u7ed9\u8239\u8236\u4ee5\u53ca\u7279\u6b8a\u7528\u9014\u8239\u8236\uff09\u7684\u9632\u6c34\u8231\u58c1\u4e2d\uff0c\u5206\u4e3a\u7535\u529b\u548c\u6db2\u538b\u4e24\u79cd\u9a71\u52a8\u65b9\u5f0f\u3002\u4f4d\u4e8e\u6700\u5e95\u5c42\u7532\u677f\u4e0a\u7684\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u901a\u5e38\u7531\u6db2\u538b\u9a71\u52a8\uff0c\u5176\u95ed\u5408\u529b\u8fbe2\u5428\u3002\u8bb8\u591a\u4eba\u4e27\u751f\u6216\u81f4\u6b8b\u4e8e\u6b64\u7c7b\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u3002\u5728\u8fd9\u4e9b\u4e8b\u6545\u4e2d\uff0c\u53d7\u5bb3\u8005\u6216\u591a\u6216\u5c11\u90fd\u6709\u8fc7\u9519\uff0c\u5982\u672a\u80fd\u4e25\u683c\u9075\u5b88\u8fc7\u95e8\u7684\u7a0b\u5e8f\u7b49\u3002\u5176\u4ed6\u5f71\u54cd\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u64cd\u4f5c\u7684\u95ee\u9898\u8fd8\u6709\uff1a\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u7f3a\u4e4f\u5408\u7406\u7ef4\u62a4\uff0c\u8239\u5458\u672a\u63a5\u53d7\u826f\u597d\u57f9\u8bad\uff0c\u4ea6\u672a\u88ab\u7279\u522b\u544a\u77e5\u5982\u4f55\u64cd\u4f5c\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u672a\u80fd\u9075\u5b88\u300a\u56fd\u9645\u6d77\u4e0a\u4eba\u547d\u5b89\u5168\u516c\u7ea6\u300b\uff08\u4e0b\u79f0\u300a\u516c\u7ea6\u300b\uff09\u7684\u6709\u5173\u89c4\u5b9a\u548c\u6307\u5357\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u672c\u671f\u901a\u51fd\u65e8\u5728\u5f3a\u8c03\u6b63\u786e\u64cd\u4f5c\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u6027\uff0c\u4ee5\u4fdd\u8bc1\u8239\u8236\u5728\u8fdb\u6c34\u7b49\u7d27\u6025\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\u4e0d\u81f4\u6c89\u6ca1\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u4e5f\u4e3a\u63d0\u9ad8\u8239\u5458\u5728\u6c34\u5bc6\u95e8\u65e5\u5e38\u64cd\u4f5c\u4e2d\u7684\u98ce\u9669\u610f\u8bc6\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">\u8be6\u7ec6\u4fe1\u606f\u8bf7\u53c2\u9605\u9644\u4ef6\u3002<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;ENG&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;CHN&nbsp;&nbsp; Over the years Gard has seen several accidents related to power-operated watertight doors on board ships.
