This is in response to the further spread of the virus since it was first spotted in the Caribbean in late 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>The virus<\/strong><br \/>This virus is transmitted by mosquito bites and at present there is no vaccine or cure. While first identified in Tanzania in the 1950s, the virus has spread and can now be found across large areas of the world including areas in southern Europe, Africa, Asia and since late 2013 it has also been reported for the first time in the Caribbean. This signals a further spread of the virus across the globe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px;\">See attached file: Chikungunya Virus.pdf<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #022469;\"><strong>\u57fa\u5b54\u80af\u96c5\u70ed\u75c5\u6bd2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u5f62\u52bf<\/strong><br \/>\u8fd1\u671f\uff0c\u6cd5\u56fd\u536b\u751f\u90e8\u53d1\u5e03\u4e00\u5219\u8b66\u544a\uff0c\u868a\u5b50\u4f20\u64ad\u57fa\u5b54\u80af\u96c5\u70ed\u75c5\u6bd2\u7684\u98ce\u9669\u4e0d\u65ad\u6301\u7eed\uff0c\u5e76\u5728\u6cd5\u5c5e\u897f\u5370\u5ea6\u7fa4\u5c9b\u548c\u6cd5\u5c5e\u572d\u4e9a\u90a3\u5730\u533a\u5927\u89c4\u6a21\u7206\u53d1\u3002\u8fd9\u662f\u81ea2013\u5e74\u672b\u9996\u6b21\u5728\u52a0\u52d2\u6bd4\u6d77\u5730\u533a\u66b4\u53d1\u540e\uff0c\u8be5\u79cd\u75c5\u6bd2\u7684\u65b0\u4e00\u8f6e\u6269\u6563\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u57fa\u5b54\u80af\u96c5\u70ed\u75c5\u6bd2<\/strong><br \/>\u8fd9\u79cd\u75c5\u6bd2\u901a\u8fc7\u868a\u5b50\u4f20\u64ad\uff0c\u4e14\u76ee\u524d\u5c1a\u672a\u6709\u75ab\u82d7\u6216\u6cbb\u6108\u65b9\u6cd5\u3002\u4e0a\u4e16\u7eaa50\u5e74\u4ee3\u8be5\u75c5\u6bd2\u5728\u5766\u6851\u5c3c\u4e9a\u88ab\u53d1\u73b0\uff0c2013\u5e74\u672b\u7531\u4e8e\u5728\u52a0\u52d2\u6bd4\u6d77\u5730\u533a\u66b4\u53d1\u800c\u9996\u6b21\u88ab\u62a5\u9053\uff0c\u73b0\u5df2\u904d\u53ca\u4e16\u754c\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u5730\u533a\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u5357\u6b27\u3001\u975e\u6d32\u3001\u4e9a\u6d32\u3002\u6807\u5fd7\u7740\u8be5\u75c5\u6bd2\u5728\u5168\u7403\u8303\u56f4\u7684\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u6269\u6563\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">\u8be6\u7ec6\u4fe1\u606f\u8bf7\u53c2\u9605\u9644\u4ef6\u3002<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;ENG&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;CHN&nbsp;&nbsp; The situation&nbsp;Members may be aware that the French Ministry of Health has recently published an alert about the continued risk of the mosquito born chikungunya virus, with respect to outbreaks in the French West Indies and French Guyana.
