One common difference of opinion relates to what is the reasonable cost of repair.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chinese insurers usually hold the view that insurers should indemnify the lowest or cheapest cost of repair, this being the reasonable cost of repair. This is not correct.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The difficulty usually emanates from the insurer\u2019s appointed surveyor trying to prove their worth to insurers by endeavouring to find any reason to reduce the cost of repairs.
