Contractual certainty – deciding what you want the contract to say and ensuring that it says it – is essential in any commercial venture. This is especially the case when considering whether to use the Northern Sea Route (NSR).<\/strong><\/p>\n

The NSR is a relatively new route; it is very different in many respects to the normal or customary routes and unless using the NSR is agreed beforehand and set out in the contractual documents, its use may well constitute a deviation.<\/p>\n

As described in the Insight article \u201cClimate change creates new trade route<\/a>\u201d, using the NSR has recently become more viable because of changing weather conditions. In 2014 the route opened on 21 August – two weeks earlier than the previous year. It is much shorter and therefore cheaper than the normal or customary route between Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n

\u5317\u6d77\u822a\u9053\u662f\u76f8\u5bf9\u8f83\u65b0\u7684\u822a\u9053\uff1b\u5728\u5f88\u591a\u65b9\u9762\u4e0e\u901a\u5e38\u6216\u4e60\u60ef\u822a\u7ebf\u6709\u5f88\u5927\u5dee\u5f02\uff0c\u9664\u975e\u4e8b\u5148\u540c\u610f\u4f7f\u7528\u5317\u6d77\u822a\u9053\u5e76\u4e14\u5728\u5408\u540c\u6027\u6587\u4ef6\u4e2d\u6709\u6240\u8bb0\u8f7d\uff0c\u5426\u5219\u4f7f\u7528\u5317\u6d77\u822a\u9053\u5f88\u53ef\u80fd\u4f1a\u6784\u6210\u7ed5\u822a\u3002<\/p>\n

\u534f\u4f1aInsight\u7248\u5757\u201c\u6c14\u5019\u53d8\u5316\u521b\u9020\u65b0\u8d38\u6613\u822a\u7ebf<\/a>\u201d\u4e00\u6587\u6307\u51fa\uff0c\u7531\u4e8e\u5929\u6c14\u6761\u4ef6\u7684\u53d8\u5316\uff0c\u4f7f\u7528\u5317\u6d77\u822a\u9053\u7684\u53ef\u884c\u6027\u65e5\u6e10\u589e\u5f3a\u3002\u4eca\u5e74\uff0c\u5317\u6d77\u822a\u7ebf\u4e8e8\u670821\u65e5\u5f00\u653e \u2013 \u8f83\u4ee5\u5f80\u65e9\u4e86\u4e24\u4e2a\u661f\u671f\u3002\u5317\u6d77\u4f7f\u4e9a\u6b27\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u822a\u7a0b\u5927\u5e45\u7f29\u77ed\uff0c\u6210\u672c\u76f8\u5bf9\u901a\u5e38\u6216\u4e60\u60ef\u822a\u7ebf\u8981\u4f4e\u4e0d\u5c11\u3002<\/p>\n
