Recently one of our Members experienced serious problems during a joint inspection carried out by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG) on the Mississippi. The following update regarding the US stand on AGM has been received.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), AGM is primarily found on vessels originating from Eastern parts of China, Japan, Korea, and the eastern part of Russia. They may arrive as adult moths, larvae, or, more likely, as eggs (masses).<\/p>\n

USDA authorities take a hard stand on finding AGM on board. Working with the CBP\/USCG, the USCG immediately issues a COTP (Captain of the Port) Order demanding that the vessel be turned back to international waters, where it should undergo treatment before being allowed to return for yet another inspection.<\/p>\n

\u4e9a\u6d32\u821e\u6bd2\u86fe – \u9760\u6cca\u7f8e\u56fd\u6e2f\u53e3\u9700\u8981\u91c7\u53d6\u7684\u9884\u9632\u63aa\u65bd<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u8fd1\u671f\uff0c\u534f\u4f1a\u67d0\u4e00\u6210\u5458\u5728\u5bc6\u897f\u897f\u6bd4\u63a5\u53d7\u7f8e\u56fd\u519c\u4e1a\u90e8\u548c\u7f8e\u56fd\u6d77\u5cb8\u8b66\u536b\u961f\u8054\u5408\u68c0\u9a8c\u65f6\uff0c\u906d\u9047\u4e86\u4e25\u91cd\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u73b0\u4e86\u89e3\u5230\u7f8e\u56fd\u5173\u4e8e\u5904\u7406\u4e9a\u6d32\u578b\u821e\u6bd2\u86fe\u7684\u6700\u65b0\u6001\u5ea6\u5982\u4e0b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u636e\u7f8e\u56fd\u519c\u4e1a\u90e8\u52a8\u690d\u7269\u68c0\u75ab\u5c40\u79f0\uff0c\u4e9a\u6d32\u578b\u821e\u6bd2\u86fe\u4e3b\u8981\u89c1\u4e8e\u6765\u81ea\u4e2d\u56fd\u4e1c\u90e8\u3001\u65e5\u672c\u3001\u97e9\u56fd\u548c\u4fc4\u7f57\u65af\u4e1c\u90e8\u7684\u8239\u4e0a\uff0c\u62b5\u8fbe\u7f8e\u56fd\u65f6\u53ef\u80fd\u4e3a\u6210\u5e74\u86fe\u3001\u5e7c\u866b\uff0c\u4e5f\u6709\u53ef\u80fd\u662f\u866b\u5375(\u5757)\u3002<\/p>\n

\u7f8e\u56fd\u519c\u4e1a\u90e8\u5bf9\u5728\u8239\u8236\u53d1\u73b0\u4e9a\u6d32\u578b\u821e\u6bd2\u86fe\u91c7\u53d6\u5f3a\u786c\u7acb\u573a\u3002\u4e00\u7ecf\u53d1\u73b0\uff0c\u7f8e\u56fd\u6d77\u5cb8\u8b66\u536b\u961f\u5c06\u7acb\u5373\u4e0e\u7f8e\u56fd\u6d77\u5173\u53ca\u8fb9\u5883\u4fdd\u536b\u5c40\u8054\u5408\u7b7e\u53d1\u6e2f\u52a1\u957f\u547d\u4ee4\uff0c\u8981\u6c42\u8239\u8236\u9a76\u56de\u516c\u6d77\u8fdb\u884c\u5904\u7406\uff0c\u5426\u5219\u4e0d\u5141\u8bb8\u5176\u8fd4\u56de\u6e2f\u53e3\u518d\u63a5\u53d7\u68c0\u67e5\u3002<\/p>\n
