\u5f53\u65f6\uff0c\u62d6\u8f6e\u8239\u957f\u6b63\u7528\u624b\u673a\u6253\u79c1\u4eba\u7535\u8bdd\u3002\u4e0e\u6b64\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u7528\u9a7e\u9a76\u53f0\u65e0\u7ebf\u7535\u4e0e\u6563\u8d27\u8239\u4e0a\u7684\u5f15\u822a\u5458\u5bf9\u8bdd\uff0c\u8ba8\u8bba\u8239\u8236\u901a\u8fc7\u4e8b\u5b9c\u3002<\/p>\n

Mobile Phones – A Hazard to Navigation?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The US National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) reports that an accident involving a bulk carrier and towing vessels on the Mississippi, was contributed to by the crew being distracted by using their mobile phones. The accident resulted in claim of US$60 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Captain of one of the towing vessels was using his mobile phone for a personal call. At the same time he was using the bridge radio to talk to the pilot on board the bulk carrier to discuss the vessels\u2019 passing.<\/p>\n

The NTSB singled out the use of the mobile phone by the officer stating it had distracted him from his lookout and navigation duties.<\/p>\n
