Introduction<\/strong> 
New Zealand is introducing a new industry standard requiring all vessels to have a clean hull on arrival in the country\u2019s waters from May 2018.<\/p>\n

Background<\/strong> 
New Zealand is taking steps to minimise the introduction of harmful marine organisms into its territorial waters by bringing in new biofouling standards in mid 2018.<\/p>\n

Under the New Zealand Biosecurity Act 1993 (\u201cthe Act\u201d), the Ministry for Primary Industries (\u201cMPI\u201d) is tasked with the effective management of risks associated with vessels entering New Zealand and is empowered to create standards that vessels must comply with. <\/p>\n

\u65b0\u897f\u5170\u5c06\u4e8e2018\u5e74\u5e74\u4e2d\u5b9e\u65bd\u751f\u7269\u6c61\u635f\u65b0\u6807\u51c6\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u8be5\u63aa\u65bd\u51cf\u5c11\u6709\u5bb3\u6d77\u6d0b\u751f\u7269\u5165\u4fb5\u5230\u5176\u9886\u6d77\u3002<\/p>\n

\u6839\u636e\u65b0\u897f\u5170\u300a\u751f\u7269\u5b89\u5168\u6cd5(1993\u5e74)\u300b\u7684\u89c4\u5b9a\uff0c\u521d\u7ea7\u4ea7\u4e1a\u90e8(MPI)\u7684\u4efb\u52a1\u662f\u9488\u5bf9\u8fdb\u5165\u65b0\u897f\u5170\u7684\u8239\u8236\uff0c\u505a\u597d\u6709\u6548\u98ce\u9669\u7ba1\u7406\uff0c\u6709\u6743\u5236\u5b9a\u8239\u8236\u5fc5\u987b\u9075\u5b88\u7684\u6807\u51c6\u3002<\/p>\n
