Port State to Focus on Readiness of Ship and Crew in An Emergency<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s concentrated inspection campaigns by port state authorities start on 1 September 2019 and focus on emergency systems and procedures, including emergency drills for crew.<\/p>\n

The Tokyo and Paris MOUs will this year carry out a joint concentrated inspection campaign (CIC) on emergency systems and procedures. The CIC will run from 1 September to 30 November 2019 and, at the time of writing, it has been announced that the Black Sea, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, Riyadh and Vi\u00f1a del Mar MOUs will also participate in the campaign.<\/p>\n
