In the first half of 2019, 73% of all kidnappings at sea, and 92% of hostage-takings, took place in the Gulf of Guinea.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 75 seafarers taken hostage onboard or kidnapped for ransom worldwide so far this year, 62 were captured in the Gulf of Guinea &#8211; off the coasts of Nigeria, Guinea, Togo, Benin and Cameroon, states the International Maritime Bureau\u2019s (IMB) in its half-year report published on 8 July 2019.<\/p>\n<p>See attached file: Gulf of Guinea Remains A High-risk Area For Seafarers.pdf<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: -40.45pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">T<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003366;\"><strong>\u51e0\u5185\u4e9a\u6e7e\u5bf9\u6d77\u5458\u800c\u8a00\u4ecd\u662f\u9ad8\u98ce\u9669\u533a<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u6d77\u76d7\u5bf9\u8239\u5458\u53ca\u5176\u5b89\u5168\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\u6301\u7eed\u5f15\u4eba\u5173\u6ce8\uff0c\u8fc7\u5883\u897f\u975e\u6c34\u57df\u4ecd\u7136\u5341\u5206\u56f0\u96be\u30022019\u5e74\u4e0a\u534a\u5e7473%\u7684\u7ed1\u67b6\u4e8b\u4ef6\u548c92\uff05\u7684\u4eba\u8d28\u52ab\u6301\u4e8b\u4ef6\u90fd\u53d1\u751f\u5728\u51e0\u5185\u4e9a\u6e7e\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u56fd\u9645\u6d77\u4e8b\u5c40\uff08IMB\uff09\u57282019\u5e747\u67088\u65e5\u53d1\u5e03\u7684\u534a\u5e74\u62a5\u544a\u663e\u793a\u4eca\u5e74\u5230\u76ee\u524d\u4e3a\u6b62\uff0c\u5168\u7403\u8303\u56f4\u5185\u670975\u540d\u6d77\u5458\u5728\u8239\u4e0a\u88ab\u5f53\u505a\u4eba\u8d28\u52ab\u6301\u6216\u7ed1\u67b6\u52d2\u7d22\u8d4e\u91d1\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u670962\u4eba\u5728\u51e0\u5185\u4e9a\u6e7e\u88ab\u4fd8\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u5c3c\u65e5\u5229\u4e9a\u3001\u51e0\u5185\u4e9a\u3001\u591a\u54e5\u3001\u8d1d\u5b81\u548c\u5580\u9ea6\u9686\u7684\u6d77\u4e0a\u533a\u57df\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u8be6\u7ec6\u4fe1\u606f\u8bf7\u53c2\u9605\u9644\u4ef6\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><br \/><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;ENG&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;CHN The effect of piracy on crew and their safety continues to be a cause for concern and transiting West African waters remains particularly difficult.
