The answer depends on the wording of the charterparty and the specific circumstances at the port in question.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is important to know that a WIPON clause, which you may include in your charterparty to allow for a NOR to be tendered\u3000\u201cwhether in port or not\u201d has its limitations. Such limits were discussed in the recent London Arbitration 13\/19 decision.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This decision also reminds charterers of the danger of doing nothing where owners serve an invalid NOR.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">See attached file: The Limitations of WIPON and The Risk of Charterers Doing Nothing with an Invalid NOR.pdf<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003366;\">WIPON\u6761\u6b3e\u7684\u5c40\u9650\u6027\u53ca\u65e0\u6548NOR\u4e0b\u627f\u79df\u4eba\u4e0d\u4f5c\u4e3a\u7684\u98ce\u9669<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u5e38\u6709\u5ba2\u6237\u5411\u6211\u4eec\u54a8\u8be2\u80fd\u5426\u5728\u6e2f\u5916\u951a\u5730\u9012\u4ea4\u6709\u6548\u7684\u88c5\u5378\u51c6\u5907\u5c31\u7eea\u901a\u77e5\u4e66\uff08\u7b80\u79f0\u201cNOR\u201d\uff09\u3002\u4e8b\u5b9e\u4e0a\uff0cNOR\u7684\u6709\u6548\u6027\u53d6\u51b3\u4e8e\u79df\u8239\u5408\u540c\u4e2d\u7684\u63aa\u8f9e\u4ee5\u53ca\u5177\u4f53\u6848\u4ef6\u91cc\u6e2f\u53e3\u7684\u7279\u5b9a\u73af\u5883\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u9700\u8981\u6ce8\u610f\u7684\u662f\uff0c\u5728\u79df\u8239\u5408\u540c\u91cc\u5e76\u5165WIPON\u6761\u6b3e\u5141\u8bb8\u201c\u65e0\u8bba\u8fdb\u6e2f\u4e0e\u5426\u201d\u9012\u4ea4NOR\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u6709\u5176\u5c40\u9650\u6027\u3002\u5728\u6700\u8fd1\u7684London Arbitration 13\/19\u4e00\u6848\u4e2d\u5c31\u8ba8\u8bba\u4e86\u8be5\u6761\u6b3e\u7684\u9650\u5236\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u8fd9\u4e00\u4ef2\u88c1\u4e5f\u63d0\u9192\u627f\u79df\u4eba\u5728\u8239\u4e1c\u9012\u4ea4\u65e0\u6548NOR\u60c5\u5f62\u4e0b\u7684\u4e0d\u4f5c\u4e3a\u53ef\u80fd\u5bfc\u81f4\u5176\u9762\u4e34\u98ce\u9669\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u8be6\u7ec6\u4fe1\u606f\u8bf7\u53c2\u9605\u9644\u4ef6\u3002<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;ENG&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;CHN We are often asked whether a Notice of Readiness (NOR) can be validly tendered outside of port limits.
