text-align: justify;\">When negotiating a charterparty, it is important to appreciate that a charter \u201con subjects\u201d, even if what has been achieved is fully agreed in principle, will usually only become binding if or when all \u201csubjects\u201d applicable have been lifted within a stated deadline; failing which the \u201csubjects\u201d have not been satisfied and the contract does not become legally binding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, unless the \u201csubjects\u201d are clearly agreed on a basis which obliges one party to take reasonable steps to seek to satisfy the \u201csubjects\u201d within a stated deadline, there is often no basis on which to pursue that party for damages if it does not lift the \u201csubjects\u201d within the deadline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">Please see attached file for details.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #003366;\"><strong>\u8c28\u614e\u5bf9\u5f85\u79df\u7ea6\u4e2d\u7684\u201cSubjects\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u8c08\u5224\u79df\u8239\u5408\u540c\u987b\u8c28\u614e\u5bf9\u5f85\u79df\u5bb6\u5728\u5408\u540c\u4e2d\u7684\u7279\u5b9a\u8bed\u8a00\u201con subjects\u201d\uff0c\u5373\u4f7f\u539f\u5219\u4e0a\u5df2\u7ecf\u5b8c\u5168\u540c\u610f\u8fbe\u6210\u534f\u8bae\uff0c\u4f46\u5408\u540c\u901a\u5e38\u53ea\u6709\u5728\u7279\u5b9a\u671f\u9650\u5185\u6d88\u9664(lift)\u4e86\u6240\u6709\u201csubjects\u201d\u624d\u80fd\u4ea7\u751f\u6cd5\u5f8b\u6548\u529b\uff0c\u67d0\u4e9b\u201csubjects\u201d\u4e0d\u80fd\u6ee1\u8db3\u7684\u8bdd\u5408\u540c\u5c31\u6ca1\u6709\u6cd5\u5f8b\u7ea6\u675f\u529b\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u6b64\u5916\uff0c\u9664\u975e\u5df2\u7ecf\u660e\u786e\u8fbe\u6210\u7ea6\u5b9a\u8feb\u4f7f\u4e00\u65b9\u91c7\u53d6\u5408\u7406\u7684\u63aa\u65bd\u4ee5\u6ee1\u8db3\u201csubjects\u201d\uff0c\u5426\u5219\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u5728\u7279\u5b9a\u671f\u9650\u5185\u672a\u6d88\u9664\u201csubjects\u201d\uff0c\u901a\u5e38\u6ca1\u6709\u4f9d\u636e\u53ef\u4ee5\u8981\u6c42\u8fd9\u4e00\u65b9\u8fdb\u884c\u635f\u5bb3\u8d54\u507f\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u8be6\u7ec6\u4fe1\u606f\u8bf7\u53c2\u9605\u9644\u4ef6\u3002<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;ENG&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;CHN When negotiating a charterparty, it is important to appreciate that a charter \u201con subjects\u201d, even if what has been achieved is fully agreed in principle, will usually only become binding if or when all \u201csubjects\u201d applicable have been lifted within a stated deadline;
