Recently, we were also approached by another member because the master of a capsize bulk carrier had refused charterer\u2019s request for alternative hold loading due to serious concern about the ship\u2019s safety.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">The above instances appear to have come about due to a lack of knowledge of the CSR-BC Class Notations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">What are the CSR-BC Class Notations? CSR-BC means the Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carriers which were adopted by the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) in December 2005 and came into effect on 1 April 2006. CSR-BC Class notations are assigned to bulk carriers of 150 meters or above in length based on the service features of dry bulk cargo densities and cargo hold loading patterns. There are three primary class notations for CSR bulk carrier: BC-A, BC-B and BC-C. These are stated on a vessel\u2019s class certificate and loading manual.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">Please see attached file for details.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px; text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"color: #003366; font-size: 18.6667px;\">\u6563\u8d27\u8239\u5b89\u5168\uff1a\u6ce8\u610f\u8239\u8236\u7ed3\u6784\u9650\u5236<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u4e0d\u4e45\u524d\uff0c\u4e00\u8239\u8236\u56e0\u4e3a\u88c5\u8f7d\u7684\u56fa\u4f53\u6563\u8d27\u5bc6\u5ea6\u8d85\u8fc7\u8be5\u8239\u8236\u7684\u6700\u5927\u5141\u8bb8\u8d27\u7269\u5bc6\u5ea6\uff0c\u800c\u5728\u88c5\u8d27\u6e2f\u906d\u5230\u6ede\u7559\u3002\u6700\u8fd1\uff0c\u4e00\u8258\u597d\u671b\u89d2\u578b\u6563\u8d27\u8239\u7684\u8239\u957f\u4ee5\u4e25\u91cd\u5a01\u80c1\u8239\u8236\u5b89\u5168\u4e3a\u7531\uff0c\u62d2\u7edd\u6267\u884c\u79df\u8239\u4eba\u63d0\u51fa\u7684\u9694\u8231\u88c5\u8d27\u8bf7\u6c42\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u4e0a\u8ff0\u4e24\u8d77\u4e8b\u4ef6\uff0c\u90fd\u4e0e\u5bf9CSR-BC\u8239\u7ea7\u9644\u52a0\u6807\u5fd7\u7f3a\u4e4f\u4e86\u89e3\u76f8\u5173\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u4ec0\u4e48\u662fCSR-BC\u8239\u7ea7\u9644\u52a0\u6807\u5fd7\uff1fCSR-BC\u662f\u6307\u56fd\u9645\u8239\u7ea7\u793e\u534f\u4f1a(IACS)\u4e8e2005\u5e7412\u6708\u901a\u8fc7\u5e76\u4e8e2006\u5e744\u67081\u65e5\u751f\u6548\u7684\u300a\u6563\u8d27\u8239\u5171\u540c\u7ed3\u6784\u89c4\u8303\u300b\u3002CSR-BC\u8239\u7ea7\u9644\u52a0\u6807\u5fd7\u6388\u4e88\u8239\u957f150\u7c73\u6216\u4ee5\u4e0a\u7684\u6563\u8d27\u8239\uff0c\u5177\u4f53\u6309\u7167\u5e72\u6563\u8d27\u5bc6\u5ea6\u548c\u8d27\u8231\u88c5\u8f7d\u6a21\u5f0f\u7684\u670d\u52a1\u7279\u70b9\u786e\u5b9a\u3002CSR\u6563\u8d27\u8239\u6709\u4e09\u79cd\u4e3b\u8981\u7684\u8239\u7ea7\u9644\u52a0\u6807\u5fd7\uff1aBC-A\u3001BC-B\u548cBC-C\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u6807\u5fd7\u5728\u8239\u8236\u7684\u8239\u7ea7\u8bc1\u4e66\u548c\u88c5\u8f7d\u624b\u518c\u4e0a\u5747\u6709\u6ce8\u660e\u3002<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u8be6\u7ec6\u4fe1\u606f\u8bf7\u53c2\u9605\u9644\u4ef6\u3002<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;ENG&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;CHN Not long ago, a member\u2019s vessel was detained at load port because the density of the solid bulk cargo being loaded exceeded the maximum allowable cargo density for that particular vessel.
