Following the Club’s bulletin 852 concerning bagged cargo, Shortages of bagged goods – West Africa, we have detailed advice from our correspondent in Kakinada, India where all the recent problematic shipments have originated from.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kakinada is an anchorage port therefore all cargo operations are carried out by barges manoeuvring alongside vessels waiting at anchor. Bagged cargoes are handled using rope net slings and lifted using the ocean going vessels own lifting gear.<\/p>\n

The Club’s correspondent, being familiar with the operations of the port has reported to us the best practices to be taken to avoid shortage of cargo claims at the discharge port.<\/p>\n

\u5361\u57fa\u7eb3\u8fbe\u4e3a\u951a\u6cca\u6e2f\u53e3\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u8d27\u7269\u5747\u901a\u8fc7\u9a73\u8239\u88c5\u8f7d\u81f3\u951a\u6cca\u7b49\u5f85\u7684\u8239\u8236\u3002\u888b\u88c5\u8d27\u7269\u4ee5\u7f06\u7ef3\u540a\u8d27\u7f51\u8fd0\u9001\u5e76\u4f7f\u7528\u8fdc\u6d0b\u8239\u8236\u81ea\u5e26\u5347\u964d\u88c5\u7f6e\u5b8c\u6210\u88c5\u8f7d\u3002<\/p>\n

\u534f\u4f1a\u901a\u8baf\u4ee3\u7406\u975e\u5e38\u719f\u6089\u8be5\u6e2f\u53e3\u7684\u8fd0\u4f5c\uff0c\u63d0\u51fa\u4e86\u9632\u6b62\u5378\u8d27\u6e2f\u8d27\u7269\u77ed\u7f3a\u7d22\u8d54\u7684\u6700\u4f73\u5b9e\u8df5\u65b9\u6cd5\u3002<\/p>\n
