Update on compulsory P&I insurance

There is no grace period after 1st July 2005 under the new Marine Pollution Control Act to provide evidence of P&I insurance.

It is indicated Taiwan will accept certificates of entry of a group P&I club although no written confirmation has been received.

It is important to have an original certificated of entry on board the vessel at the time of entry into Taiwan waters.
