Crew injury or death during the entry into enclosed spaces
Recently, the increase in the number of the crew’s serious injury and/or death resulted from entry into enclosed spaces has brought the International Group Clubs’ attention. The incidents are mostly attributed to the seafarers being unaware of, or ignoring the proper procedures prior to entering an enclosed space. This circular is going to talk about a recent case and the importance of following proper procedures.
