协会近期获悉墨西哥铁矿出口操作的相关问题。当地通讯员Pandi Nave S A 告知内容如下:

2013年,名为圣殿骑士(Knight Templar)的墨西哥贩毒集团控制了墨西哥米却肯州和科利马州的多个矿山。位于米却肯州的拉萨罗卡德纳斯港和位于科利马州的曼萨尼罗港因此受到影响。铁矿是这两个城市主要的收入来源。从墨西哥政府方面得知,从铁矿的提取、运输、加工、存储、批准以及最终出口一系列过程,每公吨铁矿的费用为15 美元,而该集团则通过瞒报的方式从到港的每吨铁矿中获利15 美元。

Ships arrested for illegal Iron Ore Exports – Mexico

The Club has recently been advised of issues with the export operations of Iron Ore from Mexico. Local Correspondents, Pandi Nave S A, have advised the following:

During the last years, Mexican drug cartel, denominated, “Knight Templar” took control of several mines in the states of Michoacán and Colima. The affected ports are Lazaro Cardenas, located in Michoacán and Manzanillo, located in Colima. The Iron Ore was their principle source of income, according to Mexican Government information they are charging $15.00 per metric ton for the process, from extraction to transport, processing, storage, permits and finally export; the cartel skims $15.00 for every ton arriving in port.
