协会获悉，有人企图通过使用据称来自苏伊士运河管理局的电子邮件的方式，获取船舶详细信息和机密信息。
马绍尔群岛登记处已针对该问题发布警示公告。(见附件)
该通告警示船舶不应回复邮件地址域名为”@suezcanalauthority.com” 的邮件，因其并不隶属于苏伊士运河管理局。苏伊士运河管理局的正确邮件地址域名为”@suezcanal.gov.eg.”

E-mails purporting to come from the Suez Canal Authority
The Association has been advised that there are attempts to solicit the provision of detailed and confidential information from vessels by the use of e-mails allegedly originating from the Suez Canal Authority.
The Marshall Island Registry has issued an alert in respect of this matter (see attached document).
According to the alert, vessels should not respond to any email address containing the domain name”@suezcanalauthority.com” as they are not affiliated with the SCA. The correct email address of the SCA only contains the domain name “@suezcanal.gov.eg.”
