Gard保赔协会获悉,加拿大食品检验局(CFIA)现已开始严格实行条例,杜绝AGM进入加拿大。在CFIA 颁布的 Circular Letter 9787 dated 27th February 2012 文件中,提醒船舶经营人和船长,2012年3月1日到10月15日期间进入加拿大港口的船舶,如果在2011-2012年期间,于特定风险期停靠过规定区域港口,则必须向CFIA提供:
- 96小时前到达通知;
- 过去2年间船舶停靠过的港口列表;及
- 有效植物检疫证书副本或其他可证明船舶无AGM危险的批准证书

Asian gypsy moths – Requirements for vessels entering Canadian ports between 1st March and 15th October 2012
Gard has been informed that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recently begun strictly enforcing regulations covering the eradication of AGM from Canada. In their Circular Letter 9787 dated 27th February 2012, the CFIA reminds vessel operators and Masters that vessels entering Canadian ports between 1st March and 15th October 2012, and that have previously visited ports in the regulated areas during specified periods of risk during 2011 and 2012 as listed below, must provide the CFIA with:
- 96-hour advanced notice on arrival;
- a list of the ports where the vessel called in the past 2 years; and
- a copy of a valid phytosanitary certificate or other approved certificate(s) verifying that the vessel is free of AGM.
