Following significant engagement between the International Group of P&I Clubs (IG) and the Government of Turkey, an agreement has been reached allowing ships carrying crude oil cargoes to continue their voyages through Turkish-controlled waters.
Members are referred to the news published on 5 December 2022 regarding the Government of Turkey’s requirement that ships carrying crude oil and transiting or entering Turkish waters from 01 December 2022 (extended to 02 December 2022) must provide letters of confirmation from the owner’s P&I Club attesting that cover will remain in place while the ship is in Turkish waters.

土耳其要求P&I保赔险确认函的问题现已解决
在国际保陪协会集团（IG协会）与土耳其当局进行了重要接洽后，现已达成一份协议，即允许运载原油货物的船只继续通过土耳其控制的水域。
会员可参阅协会12月5日发布的有关土耳其当局要求从2022年12月1日起（延长至2022年12月2日）过境或进入土耳其水域的运输原油的船舶必须提供船东保赔协会的确认函，证明船舶在土耳其水域期间，P&I保险保持有效。
