加拿大交通部发布了新的《2022/15号船舶安全公告》。根据保护不列颠哥伦比亚省南部水域虎鲸的临时命令，公告中明确规定了船舶需遵守的最新要求。新公告将取代《2021/12号船舶安全公告》。
该临时命令于2022年6月1日生效，适用于在不列颠哥伦比亚省南部特定水域内、水域上或途径特定水域航行的所有船舶，无论船舶采用何种推进方式。相关措施已经落实到位，旨在减少船舶对濒临灭绝的南部虎鲸所造成的噪音和物理干扰。

Canada’s Ship Safety Bulletin 15/2022 on the Protection of Killer Whales
Transport Canada has issued a new Ship Safety Bulletin No.15/2022 which clarifies the vessel requirements under the Interim Order for the Protection of the Killer Whale in the waters of southern British Columbia. This replaces Ship Safety Bulletin No.12/2021.
The Interim Order came into force on 1 June 2022 and applies to all vessels that are navigating in, on or through specific waters in Southern British Columbia regardless of the method of propulsion. These measures have been put in place to reduce the noise and physical disruption which vessels can cause to the endangered Southern Resident Killer Whale.
