As of August 24, 2023, vessels entering any ports of the Republic of Korea, which have taken up ballast water from ports in the prefectures of the east coast of Japan (being Aomori, Iwate, Fukushima, Miyagi, Ibaragi and Chiba) are required to comply with the procedures.

自2023年8月24日起，从日本东海岸各县，青森县（Aomori）、岩手县（Iwate）、福岛县（Fukushima）、宫城县（Miyagi）、茨城县（Ibaragi）和千叶县（Chiba）的港口加装压载水的船舶进入韩国任何港口必须遵循相关程序。
