Reports of increase in fines issued by the Djibouti Port Authorities against vessels emitting smoke.
The legal basis for the fines is understood to be Port Regulation art 35 whereby it is forbidden to “produce excessive smoke during manoeuvres or, more generally, while the vessel is in port”. Breaching this regulation will incur a financial penalty of Djibouti Francs 1,800,000.00. This approximately equates to USD 10,100.00, although in practice the imposed fine tends to be USD 10,000.00.

吉布提对排放污染黑烟尾气的船舶处以罚款
据报告，吉布提港务局对船舶排放污染尾气处以的罚款有所增加。
罚款的法律依据为《港口条例》（Port Regulation）第35条的规定，“在操纵船舶过程中，或者更宽泛地说，当船舶在港时不得排放过多尾气”。违反此规定将被处以180万吉布提法郎的罚款。这大约相当于1.01万美元，尽管实际上通常会处以1万美元的罚款。
