The South American Port State Control association, Viña del mar, are following the lead set by the Tokyo and Paris MOUs and will be carrying out a Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) into the compliance of SOLAS Chapter II/2 (construction – fire protection, fire detection and fire extinction)
