NATO Requests Reports of GPS Interference
NATO has appealed for shipowners and operators to report any instances of GPS or AIS interference in the Mediterranean.
Following reports of several instances of electronic interferences in recent months, NATO has requested additional reporting in order to construct a comprehensive picture of this activity and assess its impact in the maritime domain. Of particular concern to NATO are the reports of GPS and AIS interference and GPS jamming in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
