新加坡航运协会（SSA）了解到，印度尼西亚交通部已于2019年2月20日颁布新规，要求悬挂印度尼西亚国旗和外国国旗的船只在印度尼西亚水域航行时都要安装并激活使用船舶自动识别系统（AIS）。
该规定旨在提高安全性，并于2019年8月20日生效。

Installation And Activation Identification Systems For Ships Sailing In Indonesian Waters
SSA understands that the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation has promulgated a new regulation on 20 February 2019, which requires Indonesian and foreign-flagged ships sailing in Indonesian waters to install and activate the Automatic Identification System (AIS).
The regulation is meant to improve safety and security and will take effect 20 August 2019.
