欧盟排放交易体系（下称“EU ETS”）是一项“（排放）总量控制与交易”机制，允许企业通过持有配额来排放温室气体。自2024年1月起，该体系的运用已扩展至航运业，涵盖所有进入欧盟港[ FAQ – Maritime transport in EU Emissions Trading System (ETS)，]口的大型货轮和/或客轮（总吨位5,000吨及以上）的二氧化碳排放，无论其悬挂何国船旗。
