We would like to advise ship owners about the concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) to be carried out by Paris MOU.
The CIC will last three months, starting on 1st Sep 2010, with the aim to verify correct damage stability onboard tankers, chemical tankers and gas carriers.
In practice every tanker inspected within the Paris MOU region will have its stability book and other related documentation checked to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations. Depending on the situation, action taken once a deficiency has been noticed will vary from recording a deficiency to detaining the vessel until all deficiencies have been rectified.

本公司兹请各位船东注意据巴黎备忘录展开的集中大检查活动。
本次集中检查活动将于 2010 年 9 月 1 日开始，持续 3 个月，其的目的在于确认油轮、化学品运输船以及气体运输船的准确破舱稳性。
实践中，在巴黎备忘录管辖区域内受检的船舶将要求提交其稳性数据以及其它相关文件以确定船舶是否符合相关规定。一旦发现有不符合项，有关方将根据情况采取相应行动，从记录该不符合项，到扣留船舶至所有不符合项获纠正不等。
