Vessels calling at Australian ports, coming from NZ, must carry out a self assessment for infestations of the Burnt Pine Longicorn Beetle (BPL).
Starting 10 December 2013 vessels visiting Australia from New Zealand will be risk assessed for BPL. The risk assessments will be specific to cruise vessels, container vessels, cargo vessels, bulk carrier vessels, tanker vessels, car carrier vessels
The Maritime National Co-ordination Centre will request the vessel Master to complete a BPL questionnaire after submission of the Quarantine Pre Arrival Report.

松褐天牛-澳大利亚
从新西兰驶往澳大利亚港口的船舶必须进行松褐天牛(BPL)虫害检查。
从2013 年12 月10 日开始，将对从新西兰开往澳大利亚的船舶进行松褐天牛虫害检查。这项虫害检查特别针对：邮轮、集装箱船、货船、散货船、油轮、汽车运输船。
海事国家协调中心 (The Maritime National Co-ordination Centre) 将要求船长在提交《到港前检疫报告》后完成一份有关松褐天牛的问卷。
