From 1 September 2017 ships calling at all ports in the Zhejiang Province within the Yangtze River Delta ECA must use fuel with a sulphur content not exceeding 0.50% whilst berthed.
According to information provided by Gard’s correspondent Huatai Insurance Agency and Consultant Service Ltd, the Chinese authorities have announced an early implementation of the 0.50% sulphur cap in ports other than the designated key ports. From 1 September 2017, ships berthing at all ports in the Zhejiang Province of the Yangtze River Delta emission control area (ECA) are required to use fuel with a sulphur content not exceeding 0.50%. The ports of Jiaxing, Ningbo-Zhoushan, and Taizhou are all located within the Zhejiang Province.

自2017年9月1日起，船舶在长三角排放控制区范围内的所有浙江省港口靠岸停泊期间，应使用硫含量不超过0.5%的燃油。
据Gard协会通代华泰保险经纪的消息，中国当局已宣布，除指定主要港口外，先行执行硫含量0.5%规定的港口。自2017年9月1日起，要求船舶在长三角排放控制区内的所有浙江省港口靠岸停泊期间，应使用硫含量不超过0.5%的燃油。嘉兴、宁波-舟山、台州的港口都位于浙江省内。
