Drugs found in a shipment of vegetables – Ecuador
A Container Line Member recently had one of its containers searched at a load port terminal in Guayaquil, Ecuador by drug enforcement officers. During the search, 478 kilograms of cocaine were found. The drugs were stuffed inside vegetables, suggesting that any type of cargo can be used as a disguise.

蔬菜货物藏毒 – 厄瓜多尔
协会获悉厄瓜多尔近日发生一起涉毒案件。
近日，协会某会员集装箱船公司所属的一个集装箱在厄瓜多尔瓜亚基尔港码头时被当地缉毒处检查。检查发现，所装货物中藏匿有478公斤可卡因。毒品被填入蔬菜内，值得注意的是任何类型的货物均有可能被毒贩利用进行毒品运输。
