The local Putian Maritime Safety Administration of China has recently issued a notice regarding the fishing farms around NanRi Island.
The notice identifies the boundaries of the main farms in the area.Members should be aware that there are unauthorised and uncontrolled fishing farms outside the designated areas, specified in the circular. All vessels, navigating in the vicinity of Nanri Island, should exercise caution as neither the farms in the designated area nor the ones outside are properly marked with buoys, radar reflectors or lights.The boundaries of the farms are also not displayed on the latest nautical charts.

南日岛渔场 – 中国
中国莆田地方海事局近日就南日岛渔场问题发布通告。
通告划定了该区域内主要渔场的范围。会员请注意，除通告划定的区域外，还有一些未经许可和不受管制的渔场。由于指定区域内外的渔场均未妥善标志浮标或装置雷达反射器和信号灯等，船舶在南日岛周边航行时应保持谨慎。最新海图亦未标记这些渔场的范围。
