The Club wishes to remind its Members of the Regulation changes to MARPOL Annex I as adopted by resolution MEPC.187 (59), Adopted on 17 July 2009, which came into force as of 01 Jan 2011. Confusion was felt in some corners of the industry and so the IMO followed up with the following guidance note published 08 November 2010.

协会希望提醒会员注意，2009 年7 月17 日通过的 MEPC.187(59) 决议，对《防污公约》附则I 的规定进行了修正，该修正案于2011 年1 月1 日起实施。为解决修正案在行业内产生的疑惑，2010 年11 月8 日，国际海事组织发布了相关指导性档。
